Today is the Kosovo Independence Day

Today is the big day for the new little state Kosovo. Local authorities will declared the province as independent today at 17:00h (local time). The statement was made by the Kosovo Prime Minister's spokesman, after the refuse on Thursday to express any firm date.
Opinions in Europe about Kosovo's Independence are not the same. Britain, France and Germany are all expected to recognise the new country. However, Russian President Vladimir Putin said this week that a declaration of independence by Kosovo would be "illegal".
The new state, Kosovo will have the borders with Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro and Central Serbia.
